Do you use the Panasonic 25mm f1.7

    If you do it looks like the best results are with constant preview on and in M mode.

    Seen that. I haven't had this lens long enough to experience the problem (didn't use full aperture so far very much I think).

    And by that I really meant, if I use it at f4 or f5.6 the added DOF should take care of the breathing shouldn't it?

    With problems like these i think you need to do your own checking in your picture taking situation, are you talking stills or video, if stills ime not sure focus breathing is a problem.
