I used Elements 13 for a long time, had photo shop CC for two years nearly and decided to cancel bought Elements 15 6 months ago, Elements is ok but after using CC its like having one hand tied behind your back.

Just one example there are ways to brush selective sharpening or noise reduction in with Elements but no way to decide how much as you do it, it has to be decided before and if its too much you have to cancel it and start again.

With ACR in CC you set a brush size with the amount of feathering you want around it, select the amount of say NR you want and brush it over the areas you want to remove the noise from, then you can adjust the amount with the slider while your looking at it.

Elements is very good i just miss the more precise approach you get from CC.

I've played around with Luminar and others but I believe my brain thinks in a Lightroom fashion.

I was going to try this but gave MS one more try and it removed both programs no problem.
