    I had the GX8 but poor handling with the 100-400 made me sell it, i thought i may be interested in this if it had the 20mp sensor but the grip is smaller than the GX8

    After looking at the spec i dont think its a GX8 replacement.

    An improved GX8 not a smaller camera with a less good EVF smaller grip which requires an add on that needs removing to change battery or card, not water resistant and more other things,i think its a marketing move to make Panasonic users buy buy further up the range and make the GX range for casual shooters and the G range for serious shooters.
