Few days now I am just thinking of getting an Olympus 9-18mm, or an Olympus 12-40mm 2.8, or an Olympus 60mm 2.8 Macro.

Last time I went to a Math Competition the 17mm 1.8 was not quite that lens I felt to need, last year at a similar Competition the 30mm Sigma and the 45mm 1.8 didn't, match my expectation ether. (It was too far or to near, I couldn't move too much around)

So for indoors I think the 12-40 will be great, I guess
For portraits, I have the 45mm
for low light the 17mm 1.8 is great
The 9mm will do maybe some wide angle

So that lives me thinking of the 60mm Oly. For serious close-ups, Product, and some other stuff. I think first the 12-40 will be great. Why did I sell the 12-50. I didn't like the bokeh even wide open.

    I am just thinking aloud.

Typical, great weather for a couple of weeks, tomorrow I'm at a funeral and will probably need my umbrella.

Today students ask me: "Michael what is your photography style or what kind of Photography do you prefer?"

I couldn't answer the question. I asked them to wait a bit cos I must think about it.

Maybe one style doesn't describe it, i would say you would have to include street.

Hi all, not been on here for a while, hope everyone is ok,
I've sold my olympus setup, Pen F and the 12-40mm pro lens, one of the reasons for selling it was auto focus, it did have a mind of its own.
so now I have a Fuji x-t20 with the 16-50 lens, and even testing in the shop, auto focus spot on,
I could point at anything in the shop and it was spot on every time, the pen f would focus on the ceiling while the subject was right in front of you.
I will post a few pictures in the next few days,

Hi, thank you for your replies, I'm off work for a few weeks, due to illness, a slow heart rate(as low as 35bpm) made me faint while at work, so going to hospital for a few tests.
so to pass the time away, as well as a new camera, I got a drone, (might have to start a new thread for drone pictures)

As some of you might have seen on the news about the moorland fires near Manchester, I went to the local park this morning and took the drone up to 100 metres, and you can see the smoke on the hills, took a couple of other pictures while I was in the air..
