Along side my Nikon gear I have a Fuji X Pro-2. If Nikon does succeed in bringing out a Mirrorless would I sell the Fuji and switch?
Hmm. Not sure.
If the new camera (s) uses the F Mount lenses that would help. But apparently they won't? I'm sure I don't understand that.
Possibly there is a technical reason for not staying with their established lens line but if so the rationale hasn't reached me.
I bought the Fuji to save my aching back then snapped up a D850 ASAP. Go figure.
If they change the mount then you can bet they will have a good reason, if the old mount is holding back development then it finally has to go.
I think they will bring some form of adapter out lets hope its as good as the FT-1 on CX.
The first 4 lenses sound interesting, no ultra wide rumors which is what I'm waiting for.
Rumors are looking good
I really want to see the size next to the Sonys and Fujis. Besides the amazing retro controls, the size of the Fuji bodies (except for the X-H1) is one of the reasons I switched.
Its of no interest to me beyond hoping it helps keep Nikon going, full frame i have tried for birding and crop is better, no matter the size of the bodies the lenses will need to be of a size to cover the sensor, so too heavy for me.
