Put it on the camera yesterday and the camera showed only red interference, the V2 seams to be working with the 30-110 and the FT-1,cleaned the contacts but no help.
Wrong timing off course as the Panasonic will be mid May at the earliest and i dont feel like spending to get it sorted, could have been worse if it had been the body i would have been unable to partake of the forum :(.

Sorry to hear about the 10-30mm. Maybe pick one up on eBay?

It's a rare occurrence when Nikon does something for free. Go for it!

What happens I believe is the ribbon cable gets broken/damaged. The 10-30 seems to be the only 1 series lens this happens to. This may be a reason Nikon has switched a PD 10-30mm.

Mine also qualifies for the recall/repair. But it is working fine and I don't want to be without it.

I sent mine in for the recall, not sure what they did to it. I've never used it, maybe I should stop being lazy and at least make sure it works.
