Nancy tells me i should have a new camera (I love that woman) but I have a problem which one and do I want it enough to spend that sort of money:confused:.

Two to choose from as far as I can see, EM1MK11 or the G9, not a lot of difference between them and they both have features I like, both the same price and both with a free grip.

Now up until recently it would have been the G9 but not overly impressed with Panasonic attitude to lens repair, Jeff (jhphoto) is getting great results with his G9 and 100-300.

The EM1 on the other hand gets rave reviews everywhere and I wanted one long before the G9 came out, I guess its what they call a first world problem.

Well that didn't help, just been to my LCS to play with both and they both feel great, perhaps a slight handling plus to the Olympus as its a bit smaller and I have small hands.

Any way he has a demo G9 which is booked out for a week so I have booked it for a week from next weekend, then in a couple of weeks he is hoping to have a demo EM1MK11 so if he does I will take that for a week.

Must admit although slightly less compatible with the 100-400 and no dual IS option the Olympus is looking good. ;)

Soon be crunch time, got a trade in value for the G80,may go and do the deal in the morning for the Olympus, we have a lot of poor weather over the next week but it could take me that long to sort it out.

Good choice. ( I am biased)

You certainly need to say a big thank you to Nancy.

I know you are the BIF expert and the mk2 won't disappoint.
