Poor action results from the EM1MK11

    Thats what i was getting, to the point i was ready to return it and get the Panasonic G9, any way a guy on another forum has written a very good piece about AF fine tuning on the EM1MK11 for C-AF.
    The EM1MK11 uses CDAF for S-AF and PDAF for C-AF, as you possibly know PDAF is a better system for action (its the same as DSLRs use) AF fine tune is often needed though.

    So at the moment i have reverted back to S-AF untilli can fine tune the camera for C-AF.

    This is the result i was getting with C-AF, close but not very often

    I li9ke the shots, but my expectations are surly different yours. I am not an action shooter so camera performance needs changes.

    I hope for you that you find a satisfying gear for your needs. (I know that the D500 was a great camera in your hand) Maybe the G9 is something you should consider very closely.

    Thanks the last three shots give me confidence in the Olympus, it was results like the first one made unhappy.
