I just ordered a Bad Elf GPS Pro. We have an extended family trip planned at the end of May to celebrate @Laurie's oldest son's university graduation. I had a simpler GPS that I used back in my Nikon days but I was looking for a seamless solution that is camera agnostic. Adding GPS data in Lightroom is simple. This GPS will also connect to up to 5 bluetooth devices so I could load maps to my cellphone and not use cell data while traveling.

Nice one, they work well with a small extension tube for close up work.

Very nice shot Mike. I have a couple of extension tubes so I will try using them this spring with my new to me 30-110.

Sold off the last of my Nikon stuff last month, so had a pile of cash and bad GAS, a dangerous condition if there ever was one. I have waited patiently for Fuji to introduce a small mirrorless with IBIS. Given that up to eighteen months ago they said they were not going to introduce cameras with IBIS, then brought out the X-H1 which is bigger and heavier than the Nikon’s I have just got without, so I don’t see one being launched any time soon.
I need IBIS now with my legacy lenses. My hands are not as steady as they used to be so I decided to buy a Sony A6500. This has IBIS that can be used with any lens. I also bought a native e-mount lens the 24mm 1.8 Sony Zeiss.
This will not replace my Fuji x-e2s I may add.

I took the camera and the two lenses on my latesty holiday to Tenerife last week. I will post the results in the travel thread, but suffice to say I am very pleased with it so far.

This is the 24mm 1.8 Sony Zeiss. lens mounted in the shot directly below

Very nice, having a bit of a equipment think myself at the moment, i got rid of Nikon as it was too heavy with a 150-600 on for birding, just lately though i have been struggling to get sharp results on the m4/3 100-400, i guess its handholding a 800mm FOV thats causing the problem.
The worry is if i cant do long lenses i cant do bird photography and i dont know what else i would want to do,if ime in a none birding situation i may look at Sony in some guise myself.

Very nice Jeff. I've thought of selling my Nikon 1 kit. I could probably get a spare lens cap & a filter with the cash it would bring me. o_O

Let us know how you like your New Sony Jeff.

Received @Laurie's Fuji X-A5 with the XC 15-45mm today. Just put a battery in it and put it next to the Nikon J5 for size comparison. Snapped a couple quick pics with my phone.

It's a nice little cam. Saw the other day on the beach. Many women used those Fuji.

Looks like this will be my new camera:eek: or at least what i spend the money on;) ime using the small boot scooter i bought last year but it can stay in the car boot, this will be my more geaneral mode of transport, just sorting it out now.

This is a secondhand one just to show it, mine will be a couple of weeks coming and then needs registering as its capable of road use not that i will use it on the road.
