Great @Mike, The cam is waterproofed don't hide yourself at home during wet weather
Just been out in the rain a bit, the trouble is the camera and lens are weather resistant but not when you mix Panasonic and Olympus.
This I didn’t know

To be fair i dont think any one is 100% sure but thats the feeling.
Not a purchase, but a swap. Both my J1 & J5 are being traded for a Nikon V2. I found as much as I liked the J5 I just could not deal with not having a viewfinder.
Well a funny thing happened. While waiting for my V2 to arrive I did a look about on mpb's site. A nice used Fuji XT-2 fell into my shopping cart. FedEx says I'll have both on Tuesday. Oh boy!
Let us know what you think of the X-T2, just as an aside MBP have 53 X-T2s for sale at the moment, which sounds like a lot.
I'll let you know. I had an XT-1 that I liked a lot. I traded for a like new X-E2s, but I missed the large EVF on my XT-1. That's the main reason I'm switching to the XT-2 although I'm sure the new sensor will make me happy too.
When I ordered my XT-2 from MBP they had 21 for sale on their US site. I'm guessing the XH-1 & impending XT-3 have driven many people to sell their XT-2's. Prices have dropped far enough for this old retired guy to now afford a used one.
So happy for you Chuck!!! Going from an X-T1 to an X-T2 will blow you away. No one thing but the sum of all the little things. In the Nikon world, it was like going from a D200 to D300. (I had my D300 for nearly 6 years.) Congrats!!!
My new to me Fuji XT-2 landed on my doorstep Tuesday evening. I'm over the moon happy. It came with FW 4.0 installed & I'm going to keep it since I'm not having any issues.
Nice pickup. Congrats!
Thanks Matt. I posted the picture of the camera that went away rather than the one that arrived.
Here you go.
Did you have the 18-55mm previously? Love that lens.
Yes that lens has been with me since the beginning of my Fuji experience. So much more than the term kit lens would indicate. I can't see me ever getting rid of it or my 35 F1.4. They are just so good.
Bad news & good news. I was happy with my XT-2, but not its cosmetic condition. It was listed as good condition, but not to my eye. I thought about it for close to a week & decided I'd just live with it. Live & learn.
So Sunday I decided to see how many XT-2's they still had in stock. They had 10, but what was really interesting, they dropped all their prices by $150. So today I called & asked if they' do anything for me. They sure did! They are sending me a LN XT2 that they say can't be told from new for an additional $40. That is the difference between what I paid for my XT-2 & what they are now asking for a LN one. I'm really happy. Heck they are even paying for the shipping of the very worn XT-2 back to them.
When this is all said & done I'll tell you folks how it went & who it was.
Not photography but a new keyboard, the spacebarkept failing on the other
OK the latest is after they checked the camera I sent back they have now sent me a LN Fuji XT-2 at no additional cost to me. It is being loaded onto a FedEx truck even as I two finger type this. I'm glad it is coming I'm in Fuji withdrawal. Fingers crossed they have sent me a true LN camera.
Olympus 60mm macro
Well today my second XT-2 arrived. It is like new & I'm a happy camper.
OK now the rest of the story. I bought my first XT-2 from MPB USA that was listed as good. When it got here I was pretty disappointed in its cosmetic condition. Looked like it had been through a war. It worked as it should & I would have kept it. Then I saw MPB had dropped their prices on Fuji XT-2 cameras by $150. Yes I paid more for a beat to near death XT-2 than what they were selling LN cameras for.
Figured I'd call them & see what could be done, although I wasn't very hopeful. Talked to the voice on the other end of the phone & they couldn't have been nicer. They IMO went above & beyond to make me happy. I'd recommend MBP USA to anyone. Great people there!
