Sony 70-200 f2.8 G-Master

    Just rented the Sony 70-200 f/2.8 for the weekend. It’s heavy and quite large. The focus is fast and sharpness is amazing so far in some test shots. I’ll post back some pictures of people are interested once I shoot some this weekend.

    Makes my camera look like an iPhone with a lens attached. Sony 18-105 f/4 next to it for scale.

    The lens was heavy but performed amazing for the low light stage photography and fast action.

    Who doesn’t. My budget still benefits from renting this lens for the few times I need it versus buying it. Most of these dance competitions for my kids do not allow anyone to take photos because they sell their terrible photos at the competition.

    Great performance from dancers and from the lens. But nothing without a great man behind the camera.
